Start with slow chord changes
Pick two chords and change between them for two minutes. Keep the motion relaxed and let accuracy come before speed.
Add timing
Use a metronome at a comfortable tempo and strum once per beat. When the changes sound clean, raise the tempo in small steps.
Clean rhythm guitar usually comes from repeatable hand motion, not from forcing faster fingers.
Finish with a song section
Apply the same chords to a short verse or chorus. This makes the routine feel musical while still keeping the practice focused.
